The SC-X is a very special pair of scissors for curved cuts. The cutting edge of the scissors is curved so that the tip of the blade always works away from the head. This makes the scissors particularly interesting for slicing in the front contour area.

Incorrectly setting the scissors can seriously impair the blades. If the scissors are too loose, the hair can get caught between the blades or the hair could slide off them. If they are too tight, it increases wear on the blade material. Both incorrect settings reduce the working life of the scissors and undermine their cutting properties.
